How does Beedrill evolution work?
Beedrill's evolution line is quite straightforward and has not been altered in any way in all subsequent Pokémon titles. Weedle is a Bug/Poison type Pokémon and the first member of this evolution line. It evolves into Kakuna at a very low level and then evolves further into Beedrill after gaining some more levels. Thus, this Pokémon can be evolved quite early in many Pokémon games, which means that trainers will have access to a fully-evolved Pokémon right from the start. Although Beedrill does not have very high stats to begin with, it gets much stronger after evolving, especially its Attack and Speed stats. In games where Mega Beedrill can be used, trainers can use its Mega Stone during battles to transform it and increase its offensive capabilities drastically. It becomes one of the fastest Bug-types in the game.
